I want to share my thoughts about this video and the person behind it.

Although the video is nearly three hours long, it contains some of the most insightful and profound lessons I’ve encountered. The trading world is complex, filled with individual struggles and everything in between, and this video captures many essential components that I’ve personally faced as hurdles.

I have started modelling my trading accordingly, and it has enhanced and changed my personal trading foundation on many levels.

I’ve also watched some of his older videos to understand his teaching style, explanations, and how he imparts knowledge. Initially, I didn’t like him because of the sunglasses he wore and thought he seemed arrogant. However, with every video I watch, despite the different contexts and years, there’s always a nugget of wisdom that deepens my understanding.

His consistent focus on concepts like the 20 and 200 moving averages, price action, and candlestick analysis over decades is impressive. This particular video combines detailed graphics and explanations that encompass over 20 years of educational experience. I’m very grateful for what he’s doing.

One of his key rules is that you can’t make money unless you first make sure not to lose money — a principle that resonates deeply. I watched the video at 1.5 to 1.7 times the normal speed, and it was still completely understandable because he is very articulate and presents critical points thoughtfully. You can really see the depth of his thinking.

Interestingly, he has shared videos explaining how his childhood influenced his way of speaking, which is quite unique and well-read. Overall, I highly recommend taking the time to watch his content. It’s truly valuable.
